        Sacred cows, whether they be entrenched people, the status quo, or simply the taboo, can be existentially damaging to a business.  Challenge them with vigor.  But that’s hard, especially considering that most people aren’t confrontational.  Use humor to gently dismantle, disarm and explore new directions.  Getting to frank, cordial conversations on any topic is nearly always productive – let a laugh break the ice.
